Spend a day honing your senses to the subtle signs left by wildlife on the landscape.

Start with an informational lecture and overview of techniques, then head out into the field putting those techniques into practice. You’ll become familiar with gait patterns and how to measure the stride (length) and straddle (width) between tracks, you’ll learn of signs, other than tracks, to be on the lookout for, and you’ll gain knowledge of some of the common behaviors of our wild neighbors. Enrich your future walks through the woods and deepen your connection to the natural world around you.

Rep your love for tracking with one of our favorite sayings “When in doubt, track it out!”
If you’ve been in one of our tracking classes, then you’ve heard our motto - “when in doubt, track it out.” When we say this, we mean, if you can’t tell what kind of track you’re looking at, follow along for a bit to get a better understanding of the animal’s behavior and gait patterns, and look for other clues he or she might leave behind (like scat!). We say it so much, we thought we might as well start wearing it too!Colors:
