Join Luke Lamar, Conservation Director of Swan Valley Connections, for an introduction to winter ecology and wildlife tracks and sign. This family friendly outing welcomes both wildlife tracking connoisseurs and beginners, as there’s always something to learn from the evidence animals leave behind. The day will begin with a brief indoor presentation covering animal track identification.

For the rest of the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to snowshoe around the valley bottom, learning about winter wildlife habitat needs, animal behavior, and adaptations by investigating tracks and interpreting animal sign.
